Day 7- St. Francis Table and Bloor Landsdowne

Carlie is our team's blogger of the day!

We got to sleep in today! Breakfast was at 8:30 am instead of 7:30 am. After breakfast, we went to Saint Francis Table. We spent the time serving the people during the lunch hour. It was fun because we got to help setting up the restaurant. We helped clean up afterward. Then, we went to the mall for an hour to go shopping before our next service opportunity. We went to Bloor Landsdowne Fellowship to help prepare and serve their community dinner, an outreach to the poor in their neighborhood. After we finished serving, we got our food and sat down with the guests. We served the guests in any way that we could. Tomorrow, we make phone calls home. (Mrs. Savidge- expect your children's calls around 8:00 pm).

  1. Hi Carlie,

You are doing a great job and I am enjoying the blog! You are spending your spring break in a great way and planting seeds that will last for a very long time - maybe even a lifetime...What an encouragement you are! Keep up the great work!

  2. The blogs have been wonderful! It certainly helps us at home to share in your experiences. The blogs also are nicely written :)
In thinking about the great opportunities that you are having to serve and give of yourselves, I remembered the passage - "May this mind be you which is also in Christ Jesus..."
We continue to pray for you.

  3. Hey Mo!

You are making your mother and I very proud and you should also be proud of yourself. We are so happy you were able to go on this trip. It sounds like you are doing a great job along with your team members and it nice to see everyone wearing a SMILE:-) Keep up all the good work and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

LOVE you and see you soon! XOX

  4. Hey again Morgan & Friends,

I check the blog everyday. I especially enjoy the photos. You and your friends make me smile! You all are doing so many great things. Think of all the lives you have touched. It's wonderful that your Aunt came to see you. That must have been a SURPRISE!

    Hugs to all!
    Aunt Sandy & Bodhi too!

  5. Hi Morgan and Toronto-team---- Your updates have been so exciting to read! What a wonderful experience for you all and what an opportunity to share Christ's love. This is why we do what you are doing---because He first loved us. I can't wait to read your blog each day and can't wait to see your precious faces when you get home! Love, Aunt Donna/Mrs. Lashkevich
