Day 2 - Our free day

We are just settling in at the end of our second day. Our schedule is very unusual in that we begin our time with a free day. We enjoyed ourselves very much, always realizing that the days ahead are going to be very busy. The team is chomping at the bit to get into the trenches. We began the day with a gloriously late wake-up call and continental breakfast. We then headed into the downtown area and did some shopping at the local mall. After the mall we went into the 360 restaurant at the CN Tower. The restaurant rotated 360 degrees so we could view the whole city of Toronto and Lake Ontario. We made a last minute decision to visit a beach that we saw from the CN Tower. After picking up Steve back at CSM headquarters, we went to the Little Italy section for some pizza. We returned for a briefing, devotions and finished with a game of UNO. Tomorrow, we begin our ministry with the homeless of Toronto. The team is prayed up and ready to work.
